Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Zitsoo (Wein Consumer Products Pvt Ltd) collects, why, how long we keep it and the choices you have. It follows India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.
1. What we collect
- Account and order details: name, mobile number, email, delivery addresses, the items you order, delivery notes and your order history.
- Location: only when you allow it. If you share your location, we use it to find your address, check that we deliver there and work out the fee. We save the map pin of the delivery address you confirm with your address and order, so the rider can find you. We do not track your location in the background and don't keep a history of where you have been. When the app is open and location is already allowed, we may check whether you are far from your saved address so we can ask before delivering to the wrong place; that check happens on your device.
- Payments: for online payments, our payment partner Cashfree Payments processes your payment. We receive only the payment status, amount, method type (such as UPI or card) and reference numbers. We never receive your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank password.
- Support chat: your messages, our replies and the order you ask about, so we can help you and improve our answers.
- Rewards: Zitsoo coins, referral code, who joined with your code and rewards given.
- Notifications: if you turn on notifications, your browser gives us a push address so we can send order updates and, only if you agreed, offers.
- Device and app data: browser and device type, app version, IP address and error reports, to keep Zitsoo secure and working. A bot check by Cloudflare Turnstile may run at sign-up and login.
- Analytics cookies (only if you accept): Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Meta Pixel help us understand how the site is used and measure our ads. If you decline, they are not loaded.
- Voice input: if you tap the mic, your browser's speech service turns speech into text. We receive only the text.
2. Why we use it (purposes)
- To take, pack, deliver and support your orders, and to contact you about them.
- To check addresses and stop deliveries going to the wrong place.
- To process payments and refunds, and to prevent fraud and misuse (including referral misuse).
- To send order updates and, only with your consent, offers. You can say no at any time.
- To improve our range and service. Brands may see anonymous totals such as "customers asked for this flavour", never your name, number or address.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting duties.
3. Your consent and choices
We ask before we use your location, send notifications, load analytics cookies or send marketing messages. You can change these at any time in My account → Privacy & permissions, or in your browser or phone settings. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect what was done before, but some features (like using your current location) won't work without it.
4. Who we share it with
- Delivery riders: your name, phone number, address and map pin, only for your order. Riders see your number only after they pick up the order.
- Payment partner (Cashfree Payments): what's needed to process your payment or refund.
- Service providers who host Zitsoo, send emails and notifications, or provide maps (OpenStreetMap), bound by confidentiality.
- Analytics providers, only if you accept analytics cookies.
- WhatsApp (Meta), only if you choose to message us there.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal data. Advertisers on Zitsoo do not receive your personal data.
5. How long we keep it
- Account details: while your account is open.
- Orders, invoices and payment records: for as long as tax and accounting laws require (usually 8 years), then deleted or anonymised.
- Support chats: 2 years after they are closed.
- Location pins: with the saved address or order they belong to.
- Error and security logs: up to 90 days.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, nominate someone to act for you, and raise a complaint. Delete your account yourself in My account → Profile → Delete account; we then remove your personal details, keeping only what the law requires for order and tax records. For anything else, write to help@zitsoo.com.
7. Children
Zitsoo is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from children without a parent's or guardian's consent.
8. Security
We use encrypted connections (https), one-way hashed passwords, one-time login codes, signed sessions, limited staff access with separate logins, and private storage for rider documents. No method is 100% secure, so please never share OTPs, card numbers or passwords with anyone, including people claiming to be from Zitsoo.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. For important changes we'll tell you in the app or ask for your consent again.
